PRINCE CHARLES MEETS THE PANDAS

Wild in Art provided the pandas and creativity packs to the Schools and Youth Team at the WWF-UK Green Ambassador Summit which took place in July 2012.

Over 60 children chosen from nine eco-schools across the UK took part in a two day summit of environmentally-themed workshops on growing food, art and letter writing. President of WWF-UK, His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, hosted the Summit at Highgrove and each of the schools proudly presented their panda to him. There was also a special workshop which was run by artist, Damien Jeffery (http://www.damienjeffery.co.uk/index.html) and Wild in Art education consultant, John Spooner where each child put a message onto the panda which will be permanently displayed at the WWF
headquarters.
