Frequently Asked Questions

Who created the sculptures?

The sculptures have been created with the guidance of specialist artists and the production is sourced from around the world to ensure that the fairest deal can be achieved all around.

What are the sculptures made of?

All Wild in Art sculptures are made of either fibreglass or resin. Generally, the larger items are fibreglass while the smaller pieces are resin.

Are they weatherproof?

The sculptures themselves are fully weatherproof and will last many years in either an indoor or outdoor environment. However, it is important that any artwork is fully waterproofed. It is also important to note that the sculptures are works of art, not climbing frames and therefore children (and adults) should not climb on them.

Do I need any fixtures or fittings?

Larger sculptures will be supplied with fixing instructions and Wild in Art is also pleased to offer advice on securing your sculpture. Please contact us for further advice.

How do I look after a sculpture?

Regular cleaning of your sculpture will keep it in tip top condition for many years. Washing with warm soapy water will remove most dirt but stubborn stains can also be tackled with a “cream cleaner”. After cleaning an application of car polish works wonders. Please note these are general instructions and care should be taken dependent on the nature of the finish on your sculpture.
