Led by Taronga Zoo, Wild! Rhinos has brought businesses, artists and schools together to create a spectacular world-class trail of wildly decorated, life-sized rhinoceroses from the Sydney Harbour foreshore through the Blue Mountains to Dubbo and the Central West region of NSW.
The trail is made up of 55 large rhino sculptures, decorated and painted by leading Australian artists and designers including Ken Done and Camilla Frank, along with 70 calf-sized sculptures decorated by NSW school students, who have participated in the Wild! Rhinos education programme.
At the end of the event, the rhinos will be auctioned to raise funds to support Taronga Zoo’s breeding and field conservation programmes for rhinoceros.
Visitors can explore the trail and track down the rhinos using the new Wild! Rhinos App.
