On the 20 October 2014 Wild in Art worked in partnership with Transport for London to bring the Bus Art – Year of the Bus Sculpture Trails to London for seven weeks. The public were able to discover 60 bus sculptures, painted and adorned by well-known, professional and aspiring artists on display on walking trails at prominent locations across the capital.
The bus sculptures showcased the vital role that London’s buses play in the life and economy of the city and the UK as a whole. The sculpture trail was part of Transport for London’s celebrations to mark the 2014 Year of the Bus in partnership with the London Transport Museum and the capital’s bus operators.
There were three trails to discover: Around the River; Around Westminster and Around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park along with a trail map and app to help visitors seek out the sculptures.

The bus sculptures have now been sold at auction on 24 March 2015 with the proceeds going to three charities; Kids Company, London Transport Museum and Transaid.
