Snowdogs at Nymans, National Trust

Location: West Sussex
Client: National Trust

We provided decorated Snowdog sculptures to Nymans – one of the National Trust’s premier gardens – to complement their festive programme of activities inspired The Snowman™ and The Snowdog.

Nymans displayed over 40 illustrations from the film, following the magical adventures of The Snowman™ and The Snowdog. It marked the 40th anniversary of the publication of The Snowman™, written and illustrated by Sussex author Raymond Briggs.

A selection of sculptures from the popular Snowdog Art Trails were dotted around the garden at Nymans over Christmas. Read more.

The most visited property in London and South East region with over 37,000 visitors in the month of December.

We had a really positive experience with the Snowdogs at Nymans, so much so that we refer to our unprecedented December visitor numbers of 37,000 as ‘The Snowdog Effect!’

It was our most successful programme so far and far busier than we anticipated…. The Snowman and The Snowdog is such a recognisable brand, I think it gave people confidence that [the exhibition] was worth a visit. Visitor comments really positive. Be prepared for an influx of enquiries from other properties wanting to recreate our success!
