CLAN Cancer Support

We’ve joined forces with CLAN Cancer Support, the north-east’s leading cancer support and wellbeing charity, to bring an exciting new art trail to the north-east of Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.

Following on from the success of Wild Dolphins in Aberdeen and, most recently, the Oor Wullie trails, together we will bring over 30 lighthouse sculptures designed and created by some of the area’s most talented artists to help ‘Light the North.’

“We’re delighted to be partnered with Wild in Art to bring this event to life for the individuals and families across the area to get involved with. CLAN has been supporting people for 36 years, and, as many of our clients have told us, we are a shining light in the dark for anyone affected by cancer. The lighthouse is a symbol that reflects what we do and is synonymous with the areas we support.”

Dr. Colette Backwell, Cheif Executivce, CLAN

With over 20,000 people living with cancer across the region and people living longer with cancer, CLAN’s support is more vital than ever. They provide the emotional and practical support needed to ensure that people’s wellbeing needs are taken care of at all stages of their cancer journey.
