Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity has teamed up with us and DC Thomson Media, and together with Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity and The ARCHIE Foundation will create the world’s first nationwide art trail. Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail aims to significantly boost Scotland’s provision for children and young people in hospital by raising essential funds through the art trail, associated events and five city auctions.

“The Oor Wullie BIG Bucket Trail is a wonderful opportunity for people across Scotland to support our children in hospital, no matter where they are treated. We all want the best possible care for our young patients, and we are delighted to be a part of this unique and exciting national art trail.”

Shona Cardle, CEO of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Every year 160,000 babies, children and young people from across the country are treated at Scotland’s largest children’s hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.

The charity funds medical equipment, pioneering research, innovative play programmes and family support services at the hospital to ensure that its young patients and their families receive the best possible care.
