St Richard’s Hospice

By teaming up with St Richard’s Hospice, Worcester Stands Tall sees individually designed, beautifully created, 2.5m tall giraffe sculptures throughout the city’s streets, parks and open spaces in the summer of 2018.

Inspiring residents and visitors to uncover Worcester’s cultural gems and discover areas they may not have explored before, it also gives people an opportunity to get active on a free and fun day out. The event supports St Richard’s Hospice Build 2020 Appeal.

“We can’t wait to celebrate the artistic talents of the county and beyond in this fantastic project. I am so excited at the thought of majestic giraffes against Worcester’s iconic attractions standing tall alongside us to bring colour and excitement to the city.

“Worcester Stands Tall is one of the most innovative, inclusive, mass participation events we have undertaken, and we are committed to doing all we can to work with our partners and sponsors to make this the most exciting event Worcester has ever seen.”
