Bus Art – Year of the Bus Sculpture Trails

Wild in Art were commissioned by Transport for London to bring the Bus Art – Year of the Bus Sculpture Trails to London.

Sixty bus sculptures, painted and adorned by well-known, professional and aspiring artists were displayed on walking trails across the city including around the River Thames, Westminster, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and in Croydon.

The sculpture trail was part of Transport for London’s celebrations to mark the 2014 Year of the Bus in partnership with the London Transport Museum and the capital’s bus operators. The bus sculptures showcased the vital role that London’s buses play in the life and economy of the city and the UK as a whole.
