Go Penguins, Liverpool 2010

The event was commissioned by Liverpool City Council as a fitting finale to the city’s Year of the Environment. Its main aim was to engage school children on issues such as global warming and to inspire them to think about the contribution they could make to combat it.

Over 200 penguins waddled into town to make their point and encourage the city to go green, go have fun and Go Penguins throughout the festive season. Schools created their own colonies of nearly 100 mini-penguins.
