Pride of Northampton, 2010

40 5ft tall lion sculptures roamed Northampton, drawing attention to the town’s attributes during a summer of big cat creativity.

The Pride of Northampton was chosen by Northampton Borough Council as a celebration of the history, arts and culture of the town, and a reminder of its proud heritage and positive future.

“We have been astounded at the fantastic reaction to the Pride of Northampton project and the fantastic generosity of our community, who made the auction such a brilliant success. It never ceases to amaze us what fantastic support we get from the people of Northamptonshire.” Cynthia Spencer Hospice Fundraising Manager, John Helm.
