Ready, Steady, Gallop! Hamilton 2014

257-foot high fibre-glass Clydesdale horses, usually seen grazing in the Clyde Valley, galloped into Hamilton and South Lanarkshire.

Hamilton Business Improvement District (BID) brought the sturdy horses to town to boost tourism and business in the town of Hamilton.

The horse sculptures were auctioned off to raise £67,800 for local charity, Kilbryde Hospice that provides care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, Parkinson’s, Motor Neurone Disease and many others.
