Following the success of Elmer’s Big Parade in 2019 and Pigs Gone Wild in 2016 we were delighted to work with St Elizabeth Hospice on a new art trail for 2022.

Forty decorated owl sculptures swooped into Ipswich during summer 2022 as part of The Big Hoot Ipswich 2022. Visitors were also able to meet a parliament of Little Hoot Owls, designed by local schools and groups, which popped up in special locations all across town.

The owl sculpture was chosen specially as St Elizabeth Hospice has taken patients with progressive illnesses, and their families, “under the wing of its care” for 32 years.

Celebrating ‘all things Suffolk’, the owls were on display in the town centre, waterfront and Christchurch Park from June to September 2022.

The large sculptures raised a fantastic £163,590 for St Elizabeth Hospice at auction.
