Wild Dolphins, Aberdeen 2014

50 life-size Bottlenose Dolphin sculptures made a big splash across Aberdeen for the Wild Dolphins art trail, including 35 dolphin calves, decorated by school children who dived right into the creative process. The public art exhibition was a colourful reminder of the population of wild dolphins that swim in waters local to Aberdeen and the valuable work of the Whale and Dolphin Conservation organisation.

The auction raised £531,000 for The ARCHIE foundation, the official charity of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, and Whale and Dolphin Conservation.

The trail won Best Event or Festival at the Aberdeen City and Shire Tourism Awards 2015
