Wild in Art’s Story

It’s been over 15 years since Wild in Art was founded by our Managing Director Charlie Langhorne and Sally-Ann Wilkinson after they worked together on CowParade Manchester.

Wild in Art first came to the world’s attention with Go Superlambananas, part of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture celebrations. Since then, we’ve gone on to animate cities across four continents including Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Auckland, Christchurch, Cape Town, Nairobi and São Paulo.

Closer to home we’ve created public art trails for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the Ryder Cup and developed events the length and breadth of the country. From our first national trail across Scotland Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail, and our first touring installation, Gratitude, to trails in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast, we’ve been privileged to work with many wonderful partners in many different locations.
